Focus Group Discussions

Since 2022, Go Equal has been leading a series of Focus Group Discussions titled “Our Children, Our Future” with first-generation migrants and children of first-generation migrants with CALD backgrounds to discuss the intergenerational gaps within the CALD communities and the mental health issues of young people with such backgrounds.

The focus group discussion entailed three topics:

1. Intergenerational Communication Gaps including differences in Cultural/Linguistic/Religious Ideas
2. Mental Health of Young People
3. Role of Institutions Supporting Mental Health
